This website is designed to
give you a clear indication of what we are doing in Botswana, Africa.
It will keep you up-to-date with areas of ministry and what we are
planning in the future. It includes photos and video clips of ministry
into India and China (both past and present) as well as local photos
and video footage of our work in Botswana. It will also include devotions,
sermons and notes that may assist you in sharing the Word of God with
others.

and what God is doing through you. We also would very much appreciate
your prayers. We recognize that without the prayer support of our
brothers and sisters in Christ, very little will be achieved for God's
Kingdom.
Botswana
is a land-locked country dominated
in geographical terms by the Kalahari Desert.
It
is
bordered by Zambia and Zimbabwe to the northeast, Namibia to the north
and west, and South Africa to the south and southeast. The
distance between the extreme north and the extreme south of Botswana is
about 1,110 kilometres. Although
Botswana has no mountain ranges to speak of, the almost uniformly flat
landscape is punctuated occasionally by low hills, especially along the
southeastern boundary and in the far northwest. Selebi-Phekwe, where we are
located, is a nickel mining town in the north-east of Botswana. It has
a population of around 49,000 people. Around 50% of the population are
HIV positive.
Many of the middle-aged
generation have died out and the children are now being looked after by
their grandparents or some other member of the family. There is much
fear and superstition and a feeling of hopelessness.
