News and EventsWe have now been at Oasis Christian Church in Selebi-Phikwe, Botswana for 5 months and are seeing God do good things in the lives of the people here. We are seeing the people rise to a greater level of love and adoration in the worship and prayer in the church is taking a greater emphasis. We have been having 3 days of prayer and fasting at the end of each month and finishing it with a night of prayer. Each month the numbers are building as each person catches the importance of prayer in the church. There is a noticable difference in the spiritual atmosphere.It is our desire to see many people come to a knowledge of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and we are finding an openness to share with others. Their is such a need in this country for people to experience more than just a religious experience but a true and lasting relationship with the Lord. So many are dying of aids that there is a unconcerned attitude towards death. There seems to be a real openness to spiritual things among the people here. We are starting an outreach program for a month's trial among the unemployed on the 6th July whereby we will feed the people with a sausage on bread and at the same time share with them briefly the message of salvation. Please pray that we will see many people come to the Lord.
